    6.       Assess your purpose – assess strengths and weaknesses, needs and demand, and your aim in life.

    7.       Harmony and balance in your simple life - develop harmony and balance that allow you to enjoy a simple life within yourself, family, and environment. Success is harmony.     HOW TO BECOME A HIGHLY EFFECTIVE LEADER


    Leading others is not simply a matter of style, or following some how-to guides or recipes. Ineffectiveness of leaders seldom results from a lack of know-how or how-to. It is typically due to inadequate managerial skills. Leadership is the ability to motivate a group of people toward a common goal. The skills of a leader will ensure that the work of the organization is what it needs to be. Effective means get the things right. Effectiveness shows that one’s capabilities directly impact his/her ability to do the job; that is a capacity to produce a desired result. A highly effective leadership displays high level of competency, which includes skills, behaviors, attitudes, and knowledge. On other hand, he/she must be able to demonstrate as a value leader. A leader must build not only individual commitment but also organizational capability. Organizational capability refers to the processes, practices, and activities that create value for the organization. The leader needs ability to translate organizational direction into roadmaps, vision into action, and purpose into process. A highly effective leader is creating value through leadership. Leaders must have a rock-solid value system which is congruent with their followers’ values. Leadership in value means respect and share common value and beliefs, and promoting ethical behavior. The leader must first recognize people's value. Leaders and followers have congruent value systems.


    An effective manager possesses the skills to motivate, evaluate, problem solve, resolve conflict and more importantly produce extraordinary results. These are achieved through his/her position. When you are step ahead against others, you are a leader. Leadership is not a role or a position. Therefore, becoming a highly effective leader needs not only knowledge, skill, attitude, but leadership values. It means he/she should:

    a. Be knowledgeable: Understand the goals and objectives of the organization and making sure carried out; understand his/her responsibilities, duties and expectations; able to adopt his or her leadership style to the situation at hand, and possess management capability, set of best practices, methods and systems to match with organization needs

    b. Possess excellent skills: Demonstrate abilities maximize the potentiality of others to meet the organization’s vision, mission, and goals; i.e. build image, communication skill, supervise others, organizational skill, survival skill, resolve conflict, allocate time, decision making, and enforce organization’ values

    c. Display great attitude: An important key to high productivity and effective leadership is to have and maintain a positive attitude.

    d. Create value: Effective leadership is the foundation for creating value within the organization. The leader must first recognize people's value. Both leader and followers will, then, have congruent value systems, respect and share the common value and beliefs, and promote ethical behavior, which is highest standard of personal and professional ethics in leadership. The leader emphasizes well-functioning of the organization’s values.

    If a manager is able to influence people to achieve the goals of the organization, without using his or her formal authority to do so, then the manager is demonstrating effective leadership. The manager is a leader for the organization he/she leads.

    Becoming highly effective leaders, automatically you show the ability of doing the best practices of highly effective people, which include be proactive, begin with the end of mind, put first things first, think win-win, seek first to understand then to be understood, synergize, and sharpen the saw.

    LEADERSHIP GREATNESS


    Greatness emphasizes perceived superiority of a person or thing. Great leaders demonstrate actions that indicate sensitivity to and regard for the feelings and needs of others and an awareness of the impact of one's own behavior on them; being supportive of and fair with others.

    To create a successful organization, a leader should be investing in building his/her leadership ability. Great leaders must be regarded as achievers. The great leader always make sure that he/she surround his/herself with great people.

    Great leaders accept responsibility. Responsibility is developed by the component qualities of accountability, courage, self-confidence and focus on the whole.

    Great leaders create great businesses. Leaders with entrepreneurship possess traits which will help them motivate others and lead them in new directions.

    Leadership requires congruence, honesty and authenticity. Authenticity is pathway to greatness. Leaders who are authentic and therefore they can be trusted. Authenticity is a necessary investment in greatness.

    Leadership and greatness begin with a commitment to the journey of greatness. Leaders cannot lead without trust. It implies followers to respect and trust leadership, as well as leader believes in people.

    No one will be called a great leader unless he/she demonstrate leadership greatness – act with sense of greatness.


    Can you become a great leader? If you have the leadership greatness, the answer is "Yes, Why Not.” Great leadership doesn't start with what you know.
